The Libertarian Party of New York is calling for applications for delegates to the Libertarian National Convention in Washington, D.C. on May 23 – 26, 2024.

It is possible that not everyone who expresses interest will be able to serve as a delegate for New York State. It is important to note that you may attend the national convention without being appointed as a state delegate from New York.

REGISTER FOR THE NATIONAL CONVENTION
To apply to be a New York delegate, click the button below. The Delegate Selection Committee will meet on Monday, January 15, 2024 to finalize the delegate rubric to be recommended to the State Committee for its meeting on Monday, January 22, 2024. At this meeting, the State Committee will vote to approve the rubric. If no changes are made to the rubric, the list of delegates compiled by January 15 will be submitted to the State Committee for ratification. If the rubric passes without amendment, the delegate list would be ready for ratification, and this will be the first selection of delegates. Anyone who applies after that will only likely be an Alternate and will not advance above those who had previously applied, unless several delegates withdraw. If you want to be a delegate and have not applied, please do so. If you are not sure if you applied, apply again and we can confirm you are on the application list.
